Big story in new Handloader about Norma bringing out the 280 AI as a factory load. Anybody loading for it? Looks like a real hotshot!

should be really close to a 7mm mag--without the belt.

Certainly does and it is and always has been better for hand loading. Availability will still be low, though. At least there will be some high quality brass out there.
Nosler chambered their custom rifle in .280 AI.

yeah and i think nosler is running lots of 280AI brass too, and they are supposed to make some nice brass

I'm not big on the chamfered receiver look like the A-Bolt but the Nosler rifle is no doubt nice and they are certainly touting the .280 AI

Check out the scope it comes with.......................still a solid choice
