I stumbled onto this straight pull 22WMR by accident:
Scout configuration does not do much for me in this case, but a straight pull action is interesting. Has anyone laid eyes on this thing? ILya

Never seen one of those, but I've owned, used, and thoroughly enjoyed the Browning T-bolt straight pull rifles for many years. It is much simpler mechanically than that design. The new version is available in .22LR, .17 HMR, and .22 WMR. I have 2 of them, one in .22 LR and the other in .17 HMR. Straight pull actions are fun to use, especially in a plinker with nonexistent recoil.

I forgot about the T-bolt.
The SPA action design is based on biathlon rifles which I find fascinating. The mechanical complexity is, I think there to make a for a shorter and quicker bolt throw, but I could be wrong. It makes me curious, so I am also looking at Volquartsen Summit for the same reason. ILya

Very like the biathlon rifles you see. If you thik about biathlon, it's all about time so a quick action you can cycle in the shoulder is highly advantageous

Mrs.BF has the Browning T-bolt in .22lr. I got it for her because it was simpler and easier for her to use than anything else I could find for her, and it's lite weight, and accurate (minute of golf ball) with an excellent trigger. It also comes in .22Mag. and .17HMR. ILya's rifle looks like a Biathlon rifle, and I'm sure it's a shorter and liter throw than the Browning, that could probably be operated with the thumb, but it just looks bulky.

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

I think that is what eventually became Volquartsen Summit:
The design was originally made by Primary Weapon Systems. ILya

I would expect the toggle action to be smoother than the t-bolt. T-Bolts have excellent magazines.

Coming from Volquartsen I am guessing that it is very nice. I have yet to handle anything that Volquartsen has produced that wasn't first rate.
