Is the 22-250 rem knowing by any other name than 22-250 rem? like the 308  or the 223 or the 30-06.

  In mag articles YEARS back I remember seeing it refered to as the ".22 Varminter".

i call it the 250, but that can become confused with the .250 savage ( the 22-250's parent case)

Just choose your bullet and plug in the velocity.  Or are you trying to do a factory load and not sure what to plug in?

  If you click on choose bullet or BC and scroll to the bottom,both Rem and Win start at .243.  Your probably right about the factory ammo.

On a balistic calculator it really doesnt matter if you are shooting a .223 or a 22-250 or a 220 Swift what you are entering is the particular bullet by weight like a 69 grain Sierra Matchking hollowpoint and you enter the speed that the bullet is being measured at by the chronograph in feet per second.  You also enter the balistic coefficient and the elevation above sea level and the humidity and what ever else it asks for and the calculator prints you a chart of your trajectory.
 
On the site you posted there is a block for cartridge description in which you would write your description "22-250 Super Duper Load"

Yup guess I'm as lost as some of u. its all good guys thanks tho. last time I have some winchester silver tip load up for me. I'll stick with Federal Ammo
