How might the Burris Signature Selects compare?

Too expensive to compete against current Monarch prices.

Hey Brother.

You can always check out the "search function" on the scopes your interested in.

These scopes have been discussed at length.

If at first you don't secede...try..try again.

One more quick question guys, how about a Weaver Grand Slam 4.5-14x40?  How might these compare...

Seriously?  One of my buddy has a Grand Slam that's about 6 years old and I always thought it was pretty nice.  Hmm, maybe they're changed.

Well, they certainly are ugly, if nothing else.

Thanx for all of the good help, guys.  I won't be able to afford the scope for probably a month or two, but I am doing my research in advance so I get the best deal.  BUT I think after about a month's research I have finally rested on a Nikon Monarch.  My guess is that I will end up getting one of the new models, and if I'm lucky, I will be able to get an old model for cheap.  I doubt that they'll last that long though.

I can't believe I ruled out Nikon, even after that Buckmaster served me for so long without ever failing or changing POI.  I bet I shot about 3000 rounds using that scope!

Yeah, well spoken.  I am pretty excited to see what Nikon holds for the new Monarch...I think it might even be worth the wait.  To me the current UCC looks almost identical to my old Buckmaster in every way.  I am sure the differences are numerous, but I am eager to see what they come up with.

As of now, to my understanding, no one has a clue :-S.

In the meantime though, I pulled my Tasco World Class 3-9x40 off of my .22 MAG and put it on my 22-250.  I know you're all probably turning green right now, but I'm desperate, it's new and it needs to be shot!

Oh, my bad man.  I put the Tasco on my Remington SPS 22-250.  BUT, when I get a Monarch, I am taking the Tasco off right away and putting the Monarch on.  I will then return the Tasco to its rightful place on the .22 Mag ;-).

I actually don't even know yet, to tell the truth.  It has yet to be shot.  I only hope it's as accurate as my Savage 12FV and the Savage GVSS that I use to own.  Those were both awesome guns that both shot consistently below 1/2", with the occasional 1/4" (hard to do).  I usually only achieved 1/4" using match grade components (and a lot of paper).

The BVSS had an accutrigger and I loved it.  I had it turned down about as low as it would go, lol I think it spoiled me just a bit.  The accutrigger is amazing, and very very safe at all pull weights.
