Anyone know where I might be able to find somone selling a Zeiss diavari 1.5-6x ZA (older model scope, with bdc cams setup for the G3SG-1)

Also I'm looking for a No 32. scope "look alike" its the scope that was used on the old enfield snipers and L42a1. The closest I've found is the PO scope at kalinka optics http://www.kalinkaoptics.com/detail.aspx?ID=99. Though I'm somewhat wary of russian optics such as this. Anyone know anything in a 1" tube that looks like that and has a BDC of sorts?

I'm not exactly sure what I in my post might indicate that I could find either scope on the sample list.

What he ment to say is    NO I have no idea where you might find it, If it is not on samplelist try Ebay, gunbroker, auction arms, gun shows, a military museum. Or give up and put something that you can find on it. Its like trying to find an extra front wheel for a 1934 Harley Davidson there may be one out there somewhere but you are going to have great difficulty finding it and getting the person who has it to give it up.

Well, thanks for the rather obvious post. I know I can check those places. I had hoped since this is forum specifically dealing with optics that someone here might be able to point me to a better source.

You are hunting for collectable items, we are not really doing that here, we are addressing current production and its suitability to specific purpose.

Well I can appreciate that. Hence the second part of my question about finding something that looks like a no 32 scope. Or comments on that scope that kalinka carries.

search it on Yahoo or Google etc. and you will come up with some interesting info and like I said Ebay, Auction Arms, Gunbroker etc and if you are persistent and search repeatedly you might find one. Dont expect it to be cheap, and no there really is not an acceptable clone.

You might also contact military museums to see if they have more than they need or can suggest any sources. (515) 252-4531 for Col Russ Bierl  Iowa Military Museum.

As for the one on K at $90 you get what you pay for its not the real thing and probably not the scope that a K4 Weaver is.

So can you suggest something with the profile of that kalinka scope thats 1"? With some sort of repeatable low profile turrets (I don't care if they are 1/4 moa or 1 moa). Ideally the lower power IOR's look good, but the mount is a 1" mount so thats a no-go.

hello    I have a question pertaining to sighting in a Tasco Pronghorn 3-9X40.  Should I zero this thing in on 3 or zoom up to 9 for a zero?

Winger,

While I'm not sure why you posted in my particular thread, the best answer is zero at whatever magnification you are going to take the shot at, since your zero may shift a bit as you change the zoom with a lower dollar scope like that.
