Mounting a 4.5-14x50 Zeiss Conquest to a Savage 10FLCP-k with Burris Signature Zee Weaver medium rings. The model I have is the Rapid Z800, questions is do I need to bother with a 20 MOA rail? My gut says no as I can dial in a 200 yard zero and be out to 800 with turning a knob on a 0 MOA rail. Any input is greatly appreciated, hoping to order later today.

With a drop reticle scope, you won't be dialing, so a 0 moa scope makes the most sense. Then you can zero close to the center of adjustment and get the most optical performance from your scope.
